The most important thing in business

An early revelation changed the trajectory of the business for the better.
November 18, 2016

It soon occurred the most important thing in business was missing – understanding people and what they value.

SEED General Manager Christopher Bartlett talks about starting out in business and making a revelation that changed the trajectory of the business for the better, in this month's Inside Small Business column.

"Looking back, I’m glad that we learnt the lessons we did then and were not stuck there for long," Christopher wrote.

"This valuable lesson of first understanding people and what they value has now shaped our business into a whole new organisation.

"And the same theory applies not just to clients, customers and staff – but can apply to you, too."
